Day scorpion looks like this. See the stinger?
Night scorpion under a blacklight looks something like this. YUCK!!

After we found another
SCORPION in the hallway, we loaded up our morning good looks and went to
Culvers for lunch. It was a unanimous decision to eat outside after about 3 kids popped out of the car in some "creative" outfits. After our delicious lunch, we headed to Arizona Mills to buy some running shoes for a few of the little ones. Successful shopping at the Nike Outlet. Finally on to our original destination, a fun outing at the local high school track. Todd and I ran a 400 relay against the four older kids, and yes, we've still got it. Our 2 x 200

beat their 4 x 100. It will probably be one of the last times though-they are growing bigger and becoming speedy. Even little Sophie made it around the whole track. When she crossed the finish line, I picked her up and she said, "I made it!".

She wasn't even breathing hard. Brynn did her lap with
Twizzlers in hand.

The swimming pool was ready for us when we got home. Ally had a friend over, we had a little BBQ with
rib eye steaks and grilled
corn on the cob (good with butter, Parmesan and lime). We finished the day by going to Thrifty for ice cream cones and watching "Flyboys", a good Memorial Day ending.

I miss hanging out at the party house! What a fun day--minus the scorpions.
ew ew ew scorpians! Good thing you don't find them in UT as often. You are the family of fast runners (and swimmers)!
Todd said to tell you..."Buff calves!" Haha
We went to Culvers on Mon for lunch too. I think we were there around 3:00.
Next time you have one of those races call me.. I went to school with Wilma Rudolph you know!! Call me next time you go to Culver's too.
FUN FUN FUN... I love running/racing on the track!
Now i have got to try Culvers! Sounds Delicious!
Glad you can still beat your kids. Not over here. Well, we can still beat 3/4...not saying much since one of the 3 is 18 months :) Hunter can run a 6:20 mile, so he is WAY ahead of us. (track for you) We were out running doing our best, and he said we were so slooow!! That our pace was slower than a warm up jog. hahaha.
