SiLLy dINneR 2008
We like to give the kids a menu with funny names for the food so they don't know exactly what they are ordering. We eat off of different things like pot lids and cutting boards and big silver trays. They drink from thimbles, measuring cups, lids, medicine droppers. Utensils include tongs, two butter knives, big serving spoons. Everybody sits in a different chair than normal. This is one of the kids' favorite traditions. Here is this year's menu. Can you guess what the items are? The kids are getting smarter and guessed quite a few this year.

Sounds like good fun. We've done this a few times, but not with the mixed up utensils and such. I'll have to try it. When I was a teenager my brother and I did this for our parents and the younger kids. You're such a fun mom. It gets me motivated. In May. In May I'll be a fun mom.

Wow. My kids would love that. Is it okay if all the choices mean top ramen?

Yum! We just had plain old soft tacos.
I remembered you did that every year, I was just too lazy to copy it!

I love, love, love, the idea! My kids would love it! We do something similar for Halloween, but I think it would be better for April fools Day. So fun!
