Taylors took Manhattan

We had a whirlwind trip. I can't believe we did/saw so much in the short time we were in NYC. We had an itinerary and thought it would be nice to do a few things but we clicked through nearly everything. That's what you get when you go with Shannon! The first night we were just going to relax, eat dinner, check in to the hotel and get a good nights rest. In other words, we didn't plan anything. When we got there, we threw on skirts/dresses and headed straight for the NYC temple. After that, we went to Patsy's pizza (thanks Kelli G. for all your recommendations! ) then we caught a subway to Serendipity for dessert and a taxi cab back to the hotel. So day one: car/plane/another plane/airport shuttle/(a long) van (ride)/walk/subway/taxi. I think that was my most transportation methods in one day ever. I had been up for like 20 hours with 3 hours sleep before that so I didn't quite make it out early with the others that first day. We finally got going and headed down to Canal Street. Those Taylor girls drive a hard bargain! We came away with(knock-off) Juicy sweatsuits, prada purses, d & g purses, Tiffany jewelry, watches, jeans etc. It was a fun morning. My favorite things were when the guy went under the tablecloth to get a secret stock of jeans and when the police showed up. Lots of good deals were had then because they had to cover up the merchandise quick. Next we headed towards Soho to Ed's Lobster Bar, Prada, Kate's Paperie. To be continued...

Ohhh that sounds like so much fun. I loved NYC. I've only been there once, but loved it. I went with Scott, who was busy working some of the time and I think it would be fun to do all that shopping with some friends/sisters! Good times Janer!

You have to finish your post. For the life of me I can't remember where we ate dinner the night of Wicked! Brain cramp. It's been bugging me all day!
I've been missing you and all our laughs together!
