when Todd and I would go to Price Club and decide if we should get the bag of frozen chicken or buy some milk. We usually went for the chicken because we couldn't finish the milk before it went bad. Fast forward 15 years and 6 kids. Um, could we get some milk in a 6 pack and will this bag of chicken be for 2 meals or 3? Is 5 dozen eggs enough before we go on vacation? A 15 pack of gum, 3 kids who go through a pack daily, 2 please. Clam shells of strawberries are gone within a few hours. Cereal evaporates. Bricks of cheese, annihilated. So yes, I'm thankful for Costco and healthy growing kids today, and a hardworking husband who makes it all possible for me to be at home and take care of them.
Activities this evening? Bathing the girls and making them smell good, showing the kids I can still stand on my head with grace, and watching Brigham bounce grapes off the wall and catch them in his mouth and the subsequent boys' fight over who invented that trick. I put them all to bed after reading and then hit the treadmill for some much needed stress relief, very thankful that I'm not a single mother.
Tomorrow? Last day of school. Ally came home in tears today. She did win "best eyes" in the jr. high and had her photo in the yearbook. But the last day of school is always sad. We're trying to plan something fun to do tomorrow. They mostly just want to play with their friends so I'll try to make that happen. Here comes summer, ready or not! Random pics to follow: Brooke at Silver Lake, Dennis, Randy & Todd (neighbors & instigators of sushi eating/yard widows), Brynn & Kennedy, Brig doing the twist at the dance festival, and Chase (in the middle) at the dance festival.

I am headed to Costco today! I was laughing at your post, because food does just GO. Snap your fingers and it's gone! Can you even imagine when all the kids are teenagers what it will be like?? Cute pictures!
