Since this afternoon

Ally had a bike wreck, hit a bump on the trail, went over the handle bars and said she was on the ground and looking up at the bike coming down on her. She banged up her elbow, hands, shoulder, hip and has tire marks up her shin and many scratches on her thighs and calves. Must have been some wreck! The chain was off when I went to get her. She'll be sore tomorrow!

Then Brynn had been fussing about her ear since lunch. I called the dr. around lunchtime but he couldn't see her until 9:45 am tomorrow. After 2 rounds of advil and one of tylenol she was still laying on the floor crying. So, at 8:54 pm I threw her in the car and sped down to urgent care because they closed at 9pm. I called on the way and they were waiting at the door for me when I got there. They know me now from the recent visits for staples, strep etc. Basically everytime Todd leaves town I'm sitting down in their office.

Anyway, the dr. said her ear infection was so bad it was about to burst. Ouch! They gave her a shot on the spot and another antibiotic to go with it. On the way there she asked if we were going to see Dr. Whiting. "No," I said. Brynn then said, "oh, he's at home getting on his jammies?" "yep," I said. Then she asks, "we're going to see Dr. Seuss?"

So hopefully the events for the day have ended. We'll see what tomorrow brings!
