May 23, 2007 is a big day. I think it is around the same day Walgreens opened up in Houston about eight years ago in 1999. Nice when something familiar but not present comes back into your path. Also on the horizon, Rumbi & Bajio in Lehi by the new costco (another big day back in August when that opened). Ikea has great breakfast! $1.99 for hash browns, eggs, bacon etc. (Maybe I could take the kids there on testing week!) Now all we need in this area is Macaroni Grill, Cheesecake Factory etc. Someplace good to eat besides chili's and applebees. It would be nice to have a bath & body works close by too, and a nice rec center and library while we're dreaming. All in good time! Since we'll be living here in the summer months, it's still okay to wish for these things. Right?
Todd surprised me with a new scooter for Mother's Day this year. It's a silver vino 125. It has all sorts of fancy tricks to get started so I'll have to mess around with that. I think I have to get a motorcycle license to drive it too. We'll see if that happens. It's primary functions are to get the mail, run the kids to piano, to/from school, and late night date rides. I'm not too good at left turns so I keep running up on the neighbors yards. Maybe it's the heavy weight on the back end. I'll work onmy turns (in the dark) before I take the kids more than a block. We have some sweet helmets that match too. Thanks Todd!
I'm laughing in that first photo because I was playing chicken with the white car in the background, not on purpose but because I'm still a lousy driver on this thing. The second photo is Sophie walking over to get a ride and the third is Brynn coming home from pre-school.

That is so cool! When Ally said that you went to the scooter store I asked why because I thought she meant the "Scooter Store" that is always advertised during the price is right, you know the equivelant to the "Hover round". Ha ha. I saw a Dad in Jake's neighborhood taking kids to school on a scooter yesterday with the radio blaring. The kids were having fun on it. You'll fit right it in good old AZ
Fun!! You look good sitting up there. The kids will think that is the coolest.
SOOOOO COOL! i use Boston's Scooter alot too, and I would totally use one! Especially in this Gorgeous Weather!
Does it have a Stereo?
