Home Again, Home Again, Jiggity Jig

At last! We had a great time in NYC. It was fun to spend time with Brooklyn, she is a sweet little girl. On her birthday we were eating breakfast and called home. They reported that Kelly was going to tuck Brynn in for bed the night before and Brynn told her that her Dad was coming to tuck her in. This made Brooklyn tear up. We got her mind off of missing home by heading to the American Girl Doll store and it was less than 5 minutes and she had "THE One" picked out. So we carried the doll all around the city. We went to Rockefeller Plaza, John's Pizzeria, Beauty & the Beast, Empire State Building (didn't go up, not enough time), Toys R Us, Hershey's Candy Factory/store, H & M, Macy's, Lord & Taylor etc. Then we went swimming at the hotel twice and rode taxis, buses and a limo. My first time in a limousine I believe. We packed winter coats, hats, scarves and mittens and it was 70 degrees both days. Dreamy. A little rain one afternoon but we were inside. Todd met us Friday night and we went to a French restaurant with a great view of Times Square.

People are not used to babies in NYC either. They would say, "She's so cute, God bless her". After about the 6th time, Brooklyn said, "they sure like babies around this place." Then I assured her that she was cute too.

Thank you very much, Candy, Kelly & Jake for helping us with the other kids while we were away.
Here's to another week. Before we know it, Christmas will be here and gone. Enjoy the season...
