We had a great time in SLC--We got to see our friends, the Hansens! We ate lunch and then went to the Clarke Planitarium for a Christmas IMAX movie. 4 Adults, 10(!) kids!
Thanks for taking the time to see us Jared & Becky!
We also finished up some Christmas shopping and had hot chocolate before heading home. We cooked a ham and opened Christmas cards, neighbor gifts and played a game of Scrabble. Todd found out half way through that Spanish words were allowed, legally, but he still didn't win. Next time, with twice as many words in his brain, he will win.
We were having such a nice, relaxing family night that we decided to let the kids open their gifts to/from each other. The picked up the house in a hurry and the merriment continued after a lesson/story on what the symbols of Christmas mean. (the star, candy cane, candle, ornament, colors, bells, & wreath).
Tonight we have a Christmas party/Birthday party for Grandma Hansen's birthday. Todd's Grandma and Grandpa are going to be Joseph & Mary in a nativity, ice cream and cake, caroling around the neighborhood hayride style and then Santa.
Yesterday Aunt Shannon came and picked up Brigham for shopping and lunch and a fun time with Boston. She took them to Charlotte's Web and we dropped the three girls off to join them. We finished up some errands with Chase and Sophie then got take-out sushi and watched the BYU game at Cory and Shannon's. Thanks for hosting! Always a fun time with Aunt Shashi.
Laundry!
