This & That

Ally has become quite the piano player. She'll be passing me by shortly. She plays for YW each Sunday and practices faithfully. It's fun to hear her practice while I'm making dinner. She's also doing great at volleyball--that is when her team shows up to play. Fall is a busy time for that age of girl but when they do show up for the games they have a good time. Her soccer season just ended so maybe she won't be so tired all the time.

Brooklyn and Brynn have been sleeping in tents everynight. I'm a little worried about the strong plastic smell they are breathing in all night, so I'll go remove the tents in the night. By morning, the tents are back. Brooke is doing great at piano too. The practicing puts a cramp in her style but she is playing some fun songs. She does back handsprings all over the place. That is where her heart is.

Chase did great at his football game yesterday. He's getting more into the hitting/blocking now that the season is almost finished. He's got 3 or 4 more games. He starts at wide receiver and has a good friend on the team and Todd helps coach when he can. Chase loves to watch BYU football with his friends each week.

Brigham was at a birthday party that lasted all day long yesterday. He has been reading the Magic Treehouse books and carries one around most of the day. He's always asking somebody to go for a bike ride or to play catch with him. He sleeps better at night if we do something with him. Don't know what we'll do when it's too cold to go out. We also have fun playing air hockey.

Sophie continues to be a sweet baby. Sleeps pretty good at night and is happy most of the day. She is sitting up but doesn't roll either way yet. I think it's too much weight to flip and we are holding her most of the day so she doesn't get much practice. And she is oh so grabby. She'll be 5 months tomorrow.

Brynn still hasn't complained about her cast. It does put a damper on how many outfits she goes through each day--and what type. Those princess dresses with long sleeves don't have much give in the arms. If I'm talking to Todd about something and I use any expression she'll say "don't mad my dad" . Everyday she says she's going to preschool. Now if we lived in Houston, she might have been, but here the preschools are too short! Maybe next year.

Todd goes out of town starting next Wed. and has 3 back to back trips that will take him out until Oct. 6th. Including Ireland. I'm just busy tracking all of the above. Have a good Sunday. JT
