7/14/2006 We went swimming on Friday, took Brooke to gymnastics and got ready for our mini vacation to visit Shannon & Cory (Todd's brother) who lives 15 minutes away. Ha! We picked up Brooke and headed there for dinner--Sloppy Joes, salad, edamame, chips and queso and chocolate chip cookies. Then the kids played soccer and rode bikes until dark then watched movies. Shannon and I went to play tennis. We got up and were at Nordstrom by 7am for the big sale (no kids--Thanks Todd & Cory!) and then headed back to the pool until 3pm. The kids should sleep well tonight. Tomorrow Todd and maybe Ally and Chase are going to run the 5k race for American Fork Days. There is a parade following and fireworks tomorrow night. The kids look forward to the parade every year. It is supposed to be in the 100s. Nothing like AZ though. I have sympathy for you guys there! We did finally hear about the Baseline killer. Be careful. JT
