UT day 3

I ran outside at around 7am, freezing cold & beautiful, weights, breakfast, loaded up the car to head down the canyon for the day by 9am. Dropped off Todd at an office to conference call with German co-workers. Eye appointments, ordered contacts and sunglasses. Lunched at Taco Amigo (spilled chocolate milk) otherwise tasty. Post office, old neighborhood, costco, target, back to neighborhood to visit with Browns and Parkers and Dahls and Harvey's and Meinzers and Jensens while kids ran aroundPhotobucket wildly trying to catch up with all their little buddies. PhotobucketTodd squeezed in a road bike ride here. Photobucket We got ready for a BBQ with Parkers, Photobuckethamburgers,Photobucket chips, salad and strawberry angel food cakes ala costco.Photobucket More playing here: trampoline, green grass, swing setPhotobucket and dog kissing by sophie. Photobucket Quick visit to Nana for homemade cookies (thanks!) and a hello to Papa. On to Taylors for a pick-up (books to read) and a drop off (kids) and to watch the end of the Celtics/Lakers game. Home, 13.5 hours later. phew.

Seriously some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen. In winter I can take it or leave it, but summer is dreamy. The drive from AZ to UT is awesome too. I took lots of pics this time of the things we usually take for granted on the drive, even though the pictures were taken at 65 mph through the bug kill window, there are some pretty landscapes. I LOVE the scenery on the drive also. I'm actually a little sad we are flying this year. If Sterling had more time I'd rather make the road trip. My kids even love it...nonstop movies and video games and LOTS of eating out at fast food restaurants.

Sounds fun, and it does look pretty. Was it really weird to see your "old" house? I dread seeing my Brush Canyon house again...too sad :(
