day 19

I started off the day making orange syrup, a recipe from Aunt Kathy. It was quick and tasty on our blueberry waffles. Ally was finished with youth conference so I went and picked her up. Todd biked up Sundance around to AF canyon and down, out and up Suncrest and BACK. He left the house at 5:45 and was home around 12:15pm. All day long he had a dazed look, finally he was able to nap while I took the kids to swim. I ran 2.8 miles after that. Why 2.8? I wanted to break my monthly mile record, but only by a little bit. While I was running on the treadmill, I watched a wedding in the gazebo out the window of the gym. I was happy for a change of scenery. I must say that I will probably never again witness a real live wedding while running.

We took the kids to get gelato and a ham and cheese croissant. The girls heard the carousel so we headed that way. There was a man playing guitar and singing out on the patio and the weather was perfect. When we came home, Todd gave each of the kids a turn with the basket of tennis balls and then we played a very laid back match.PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
