Sunday

We had a nice, low-key day here, spent with family. We gathered a ton
of oranges and grapefruit to take to UT. It was one of the nicest
days, weather wise, since we have lived here. After church, the kids
played outside while Todd and I chatted on the patio. Todd made dinner
tonight, butternut squash ravioli and spaghetti with browned butter/
parmesan or basil pesto cream sauce. Good job Todd! I made rocky road
cookies and then Liz came over for a game of Monopoly Jr. Disney.

I taught the Laurel class today. The lesson was on the responsibility
to be a teacher and how we are always teaching whether in a formal
class setting or by example. It had a lot of tie-ins to the leadership
training meetings from Saturday and the discussions on the
responsibilities and importance of parents in regards to the Family
Proclamation.

This week we are going from this:

To this:

Jake & Andrea are worth it though :)

Have a great week!

Thanks for rubbing in the weather. Shea's going to be sure to post a forecast in the summer when we're sitting pretty at about 90 and you guys are sweating to the oldies at 115! Isn't that nice of him? Plus, 40 is going to be a heat wave! We all might be in short sleeves with no coats!
On another note, we're excited to see you. My boys are counting the sleeps--2--until they get to see their cousins. Every journal entry at school lately has been "I love my cusines." Very sweet.
Sounds like a yummy dinner and fun evening, and I'm sure your lesson was fabulous!

not rubbing it in, just bracing ourselves. And the best time to rub in the weather is not summer,(hopefully we'll be up there with you in the 90s depending on the house build progress) it is mid-october when we are still at 106. It hurts to watch BYU football on tv and see co-eds in sweatshirts.

see you soon!
