My Sweet Brookie...

is 10 today. She was born in AZ on an overcast Sunday. She had dark black hair, and as Liz reminded me, would smile if I rubbed her little cheek. Who knew she'd be my blondest kiddo? She didn't get hair until she was 18 mo. old. We were driving down the street in Houston, the road that connects Louetta and Hermitage Oaks, I forgot the name (help me remember) and her window in the car was down. She sings, "my hair, my hair" as it was blowing in the wind for the first time in her life. Then it came in blond with pretty curls.

A little about Brooke:
Favorites: webkins, pizza, iPod, orange (the color) , raspberries, violin, playing with friends, old navy clothes, sugar and spice from bath and body works, mangoes, Ida B.

She plays the piano which has helped her learn the violin. She is so great at sharing. This girl also loves to dance and is always willing to play a game or read a book or go to lunch with you. A smile is almost always a part of her face, even when she cries. It's fun to hear about her days at school. She can't really get through the review without laughing. Brooke is a great help to me and our family. I rarely hear a complaint. Her little sisters adore her, and her older siblings are amazed at her kindness. What would we do without Brookie?

For her tenth birthday, she chose waffles for breakfast with bananas and cinnamon, opened her presents and went to school. After school she had six friends over for a fun party with pizza, games, a movie and cup cakes.
