Emptied the trash, cleaned up the kitchen, made beds, did some 8 loads of laundry (in two days), cleaned 3 bathrooms. I'm going to clean 6000 feet of flooring today. I've swept/vacuumed the tile and mopped it (that counts for doing it twice, right?) Next, the lovely green carpets, windows, doors and mirrors & change sheets. That should do it. Wash, lather, Rinse, repeat. I miss Lucy, my cleaning fairy, for sure! She started coming to clean when Brynn was 2 weeks old and my parents were coming for Thanksgiving Dinner. Todd planned a ski trip with his brothers for himself, and a cleaning date for me. We were hooked. She would come every 2 weeks, then every week, then twice a week when we were selling our house. I could live with that!
And of course, I miss my niece Lucy too.
The girls and I played in the pool for 2 hours. It felt like a UT summer day. I could actually sit outside of the water for like 10 minutes and not get too hot. Plus the pool is cooling down to a refreshing warm temperature, instead of hot tub status. Brynn can swim. I won't tell her though, until next summer. She does, when I'm there, get to go without her life jacket or wings. She'll go down the slide and swim to the side, do dives and flips (scary) and doesn't panic at all. Sophie just floats around with those wings and smiles, gets in and out, in and out, in and out.
Brigham has been collecting rubber bands from our mail each day. He came home with some cash, so naturally, I asked how exactly he went to school to learn and came home with money. ? He sold his rubberband collection. You go boy!
Ally is at mutal playing volleyball, Chase is going to learn first aid. I have volleyball tonight too.
Liz and Mom are going to tag team my kids while we go to Celine. Thanks in advance! I heard my Mom whispering to the kids..."what happens at Grama's stays at Gramas" and "there aren't any rules when your parents are gone." They are in for a fun few days.
Good night, Wednesday.
p.s. have you tried the indexing yet at familysearchindexing.org? it's designed for busy people who just have small chunks of time. volunteer.
