We've started, since we moved to AZ, having the girls do dishes on even days, the boys on odd days. It's working out okay. Last night Chase was on extras and washed the electric skillet.
Me: There is still some crusty stuff on the outside
Chase (with a smirk): Ah, Mom, It's what's on the inside that counts.
and Brynn is constantly asking for hot chocolate.

Me: It's too hot outside to drink hot chocolate
Brynn: But I'm going to drink it inside.
As the kids were leaving to catch the bus there was a scorpion just crawling down the hallway. Blech.
Happy Friday~

Welcome to Az. Jane and Family. I am sure that you remember me. I am Jill's friend. Anyway, I was reading your blog...(by the way, your children are beautiful) and I just wanted to let you know that we have lived here now since June of 1999 and I have only seen 1 scorpion in my house... and we have lived in 3 homes since living here. I find it unusual that you have as many scorpions as you do. I would be freeking out too, if I saw as many as you seem to have at your house. EAKS!!! I hope that you are liking AZ. Only a few more nonths of this awful heat and then it is PARADISE!!!
Love the kid quotes, so cute. The weather...uhhhh...only a few more months?? Sunday's low is looking good :) It has been hot here too, I keep hoping for some more rain. Get those scorpions. What would really happen if you got stung?
Funny kids. Chase is right, darn it! And I agree with Brynn. Hot chocolate sounds yummy!
My kids are obsessed with egg nog. They mention it in conversation EVERY day! I look every time I'm at the store, but--let's be realistic. It's August.
I went out for breakfast last week and ordered hot chocolate. It was 108 that afternoon.
