Packing Fatigue

I've got it. It didn't help that we were up late last night at the Taylor Splash Bash. We had so much fun at the pool party with our family & friends. It's better to have a sad party at a happy place I've decided. Thanks for coming everybody!!

Yesterday I was changing the sheets on my bed so I took my wedding rings off so I would not scratch the bed. I do this every week, so 15 x 52 + 1 times, give or take. I didn't put them on because I was searching for the matching pillowcases. A little while later I went to get them and they were gone. I haven't lost them or even misplaced them in all this time so I was bugged at myself. I wasted 3 hours of valuable packing time searching for them. I asked all the kids, searched places I hadn't even been, etc. When Brynn came home from her friend's house I asked her again, and pointed to my fingers, "Have you seen my rings???" She said, yes, they are under the chair. OOOOHHHH, my little stinker. Next, she head butted Sophie in the nose and it was bleeding everywhere. Then she took my bath fizzy balls unwrapped them and started scrubbing her heels with them and then licked them. Whatever. Oh, ya, while I was searching for my rings, I found a hair ball, the hair that she cut off her head yesterday.

I went on a mt. bike ride today. (Is it mt. biking because you ride a mt. bike or because of the location where you ride your bike?) While I was riding it started raining, yeah! It hasn't rained like that in a long time--like a month or so. It was kind of fun, even going up hill, with the rain coming down.

Hope you are having a good day too!

I am so not jealous of your packing. You have the cutest family! I heard that the party was a huge success. You are such a great mom!!!

Thanks again for the party. We had a great time! The kids didn't make it out of the parking lot before they were asleep.
After the trauma, I'm glad you found your rings. I can relate...a little. I lost the ring Shea gave me for our first Christmas. Bad feeling.

So happy you found the rings. Not so happy you are still packing up. Moving is such a pain, but I love getting settled in a new house. Good times ahead!

Oh Jane, that little girl is funny! The fizzy ball, the hair ball and lost rings...oh my goodness. I'm so glad you found the rings though, she's smart and remembers. I'm sure you are pooped! You have had a huge week.
