We have been packing, packing, packing. It's good to go through things though, to remember where we've been and think about where we are headed ...........and to get rid of trash. Why did we buy THIS?? Where did THAT come from?? What was I thinking??
I wasn't kidding when I said stuff was going to happen today, Friday the 13th, after seeing that flying pig (see previous post, the Bank of American Fork flies hot air balloons, and this is a pink pig, the shape of a piggy bank). We finalized on a place to live with the help of my brother Jake and within 15 minutes, our realtor called and told us the clients accepted our counter-offer and just signed all the paperwork on our house. Phew, that is a relief!We are closing on the 10th of August. We would have been fine to hold out, but more hassle getting yard work scheduled, etc.
Things falling into place makes everything less stressful. Our neighbors(Meinzers, Parkers, Bensons, Browns) took us to dinner one last time tonight. We have a few things planned with them in the coming months, so it will be fun to look forward to those.
Counting our blessings here, while being sad too.
I must also tell about our washing machine. It hasn't been draining for over a week, so loads have been taking days to complete. I looked up the problem online and printed out the troubleshooting guide and suggested repair for Todd and he fixed it! Way to go!
Steel Days parade and 5k run in the morning. Hopefully we'll get the shady spot on the corner again this year! Here's to the flying pig! ( I really need a picture of that thing!)

That's awesome on the house! I'm sad that things are working out because then it's meant to be, and I'm also selfish. I want you to stay...but I know it's for the best.
Good job, Todd. I'm campaigning for a new washer/dryer/vacuum. We've never purchased any of the above, so I feel like I have a good case. We'll see.

Well yeah, I know about that. I got that part. The part that threw me was that you said you really saw one--I just read your edited post. I'm lame. I just want to know how you knew so many good things would happen.
Where is the house? Are you relieved to have somewhere to go?
