We have had 2 groups on Monday, two on Wednesday, two today, and one viewing scheduled for next Tuesday. I am ready to be done with selling. One family is coming through for the third time tonight, that is getting old. Especially at dinner time and nap time when I really need my house.
We have been paying the kids to do book reports. They are cooking through the books. We just got some new ones today...The Penderwicks, The Uglies, The Trouble with Tink and Barnyard Dance for the little girls. That is a great book.
We have new carpet coming for the stairs tomorrow and a new wood floor for the hallway too, then we are finished doing things to this house. Yea!

It'll all be worth it in the end, they say. When I find out who "they" are, I'm going to give them a piece of my mind.
I'm H. Gray's sister, Holly. I read your blog and had to comment here. Selling the house is such a pain! I feel your pain. Our house in St. George was on the market for two months. We'd get people who loved it but had one or two complaints. So we ripped out the kitchen and redid the countertops and all new appliances. The next week, we took it off the market and decided to wait a while. I am about a month away from having a baby and was sick of keeping the house clean. Without fail, people come after work (dinner time) or early afternoon (nap time). Seriously, we were eating dinner out 4 times a week! As much as I like a night out, it was getting old. Enjoy the new carpet and new wood floor!
It's got to be tough with kids. The last time we moved we only had one, yikes!! We have been here awhile. Your house has never been cleaner, I bet Todd is happy!!! Hang in there Jane!! Your pictures look great!
