Todd arranged a demo mountain bike, babysitter and riding group for a mountain bike ride today. Mind you, I've never been. The last bike I was on for any amount of time was after I had Brynn and I went around our 2 mile loop and had to pick up someone's trash because my legs were jello and a ward member was out watering the lawn. I had to stop so I acted like I was doing a good deed to cover up my weakness. That was on a beach cruiser, no less. So we headed up to south fork and the trail and fellow riders proceeded to kick my hiney. OUCH! I kept telling Shannon she is a freak of nature. Todd and his brother went up ahead and met us a little later. Thanks for being patient, guys! It was actually way more fun than I thought it would be. My arms were so sore by the time we rode down because I was squeezing the brakes so hard. It was almost easier going up than down-but I'm a chicken that way. Nonetheless, it was a great workout! We ended the outing with some sushi at Happy Sumo. Thanks for the fun date, Todd!

If any of you are in Utah and watch Good Things Utah, Hapari swimsuits is going to have a segment and Brooke & Shannon are going to be on. Watch for them Wednesday at 10 on abc!

Sumo was seriously so dang Delicious, i am already craving it again!
Good for you! My husband mountain bikes every day. I know he'd like if I acted a little more interested in his favorite hobby. Maybe I'll try it one of these days. Especially if there is a yummy meal at the end of the trail!
I would certainly rather go UP hill than DOWN. I'm a chicken that way too! That cracks me up your arms were sore, that's something I would do.
You look like a natural! I better not tell Shea, or I'll end up having to go. Actually, if he'd line up a sitter and find/buy me all the stuff, I would go! You're my hero.
