I've paid the bills, exercised, have a handle on the laundry(still looking for the bottom of the baskets!), had a healthy breakfast & lunch:
Orange Sunshine Pancakes
In medium bowl, combine 1/2 c 1% milk; 1/3 c low-fat, low-sodium pancake mix; 2 Tbsp liquid egg substitute; 4 tsp toasted wheat germ; 1 Tbsp orange juice concentrate; and 1 tsp grated orange zest. Pour two circles of batter onto hot griddle coated with cooking spray and cook until bubbles begin to pop. Flip and cook 2 minutes or until done. Top with 2 Tbsp marmalade and 1/3 c fat-free plain yogurt.
400 cal, 17 g pro, 75 g carb, 6 g fat, 1.5 g sat fat, 4 mg chol, 2 g fiber, 171 mg sodium, 340 mg calcium.

Make-Your-Own Salad
Top 4 c chopped romaine lettuce with 1 oz shredded low-fat Cheddar cheese; 1/3 c corn; 1/3 c canned beans (such as black or kidney), rinsed and drained; 2 Tbsp grated carrots; 4 Tbsp diced red onion; 4 oz roasted or grilled chicken breast (about the size of your palm); 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar; and dash of extra virgin olive oil (less than 1 tsp). Serve with 1 med whole wheat roll spread with 1 tsp butter.
554 cal, 53 g pro, 53 g carb, 17 g fat, 6 g sat fat, 112 mg chol, 14 g fiber, 471 mg sodium, 371 mg calcium

I couldn't eat the full serving of either one, portions are way too big.

Then I took the girls to the park, ate popsicles on the deck, swung them in the hammock and jumped on the trampoline and made a vegetable platter with dip for the kids after school. They'll come in and want ice cream w/ homemade hot fudge to which I'll reply, "OK". Todd painted the storage room floor, had meetings, went for a bike ride and had more meetings.

Need to pick up the car from the shop, go to Target & Costco, dinner, read some books after the kids get home from school. I want this book, and this one for things for the girls, after we move, of course.

Les Mis was good--they embellished a few parts that didn't need embellishing to get the message across. As they were starting the show, a realtor called Todd & asked if he could show the house at 6pm. On Monday we told the kids somebody was coming when they weren't so we could get a feel for how long it takes to really get it ready to show. So now, whenever we ask them to help us get it ready to show they don't believe someone is really coming. We showed the house Tuesday morning, so it was good we did the trial run on Monday.

Other than that, I'm sad about Melinda getting kicked off American Idol but happy that the other two are in the finals. I liked all three so it was fine any way.

It just got dark and windy. ooooooo.

Congratulations if you made it to the end of my mundane post. Thanks for listening.

I was suprised Melinda got voted off. I wanted Blake and Melinda to go to the finals, oh well. I think she will be signed by somebody pretty fast too. Les Mis. sounds great! I loved that show. Glad you are showing the house, it should sell in no time!

Candy has been sad all day about Melinda! We'll be in line for something and she'll say, "I"m just still sick about Melinda. I wonder if I would have called and voted if it would have made a difference." We've been having a ball!
