So, I ran across this recipe in some mad blog stalking, yes I know you do it too. So, if this is your recipe, please let me know and I'll give you all the credit you deserve. I just can't find the blog again. I think the girl's name was Jane, ironically. The photo came with the recipe, I haven't made them yet. So, thanks to Jane. They are a chocolate/cream cheese concoction. Please make them yourself and tell me if they are as good as they sound. Most things that come out of my oven aren't full of lovin'. I try, I'm just a better cook than baker-in my humble opinion.
ETA: I did make them tonight and they are tasty. I might add some chocolate chips at the very end, just before baking. Going in the "keeper" binder.
CHOCOLATE SWIRLS- 1/2 C sugar- 1/2 C packed brown sugar- 1/2 C butter, softened- 1 pkg. (3 oz) cream cheese, softened- 1 egg- 1 t. vanilla- 2 C all purpose flour- 1/2 t baking powder- 1/4 t. salt- 1 C semisweet chocolate ships, melted and slightly cooledHeat oven to 350F. In large mixing bowl combine sugars, butter, cream cheese, egg and vanilla. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Beat at low speed until soft dough forms. Fold melted chips into dough until lightly marbled. (do not overmix)Drop dough by heaping teaspoons 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 10-12 mins, or until edges are light golden brown. Cool completely before storing. Makes 4 dozen (2 dozen if you do normal size cookies).

Coop woke up at 3 in the morning crying because he wanted to be having a sleepover. Sad! I think they'll do better together and if we plan and talk about it for a while before. Thanks for having them!
Chocolate and cream cheese, you can't go wrong there.
