We just returned home from our Disneyland vacation. So fun. It's nice to take the kids as they get bigger and are able to do more things for themselves. I took the big kids one morning and man, that is a different park without a stroller! I haven't been there without one in such a long time--over 13 years. We got in the park early and rode on 4 of the more popular rides and were back on the shuttle to the hotel by 9:15am to eat breakfast with Todd & the girls.
Overall favorites: Ally- Tower of Terror, Brigham-California Screamin', Chase-California Screamin', Brooklyn-Maliboomer--even though she cried just before take-off and closed her eyes for nearly the whole ride, Brynn-bumper cars, Sophie-Merry Go Round, Todd-California Screamin', Me, Tower of Terror. We also liked the animation studio-the Beast's Library for the character analysis.
Nobody was sick, not even a sniffle so that was nice after a winter full of sickness. The weather was perfect too--70s. The kids went swimming twice even though it was pretty windy and cold when they got out of the water. No sunburns.
We were near a fountain making plans when this little kid about 3 or 4 came up to the water. The mom in the background yells "Jake...." however, "Jake" was wearing a pink Sleeping Beauty dress and Brynn was all over that. "Hey, that girl's a boy! " like 5 times . He just with responded with "I'm a Prince!"
While Brooke and I were waiting for the Maliboomer, we were watching and a black thing came whizzing down. About 3 feet from where we were waiting in line, a cell phone smacked into the ground, shattered. We could have been killed by that thing from 180 feet up. The teen boy was crushed. Dad wasn't too happy either. Mom pretended like she wasn't with him.
It was nice to come home to a clean house, looking forward to my own bed.
I'll post pictures later...I have about 600 to go through/delete/file/edit. Yikes! Need to catch up on all of your blogs too...didn't get online the whole trip.

We love the Beast's Library too! Who were you guys? Boston was Timone, I was Nala and Cory was Capt'n Hook!(We chose the villain for him~ha)
I cannot believe Brooke liked the Maliboomer, That is so freaky! We also LOVE Tower of Terror! That is One of Cory's Favorites too.
It sounds so fun! I am so ready to go, Especially Because the Twins are so into Mickey, Minnie,Princesses, Pooh, Pluto etc... I Bet Brynn came home with a Princess Costume! Which one?
