So at Costco yest. they had some "Magic Bars". I didn't get them then but thought about them all day. today I found a smaller box at Wal-mart so I bought them, made them, and YES they are "magic". Magic in that my hiney is already larger. Magic in that I made them for an after-school snack but they disappeared by half of the pan before the kids walked through the door. Magic in the fact that something baked actually tasted good coming from my oven. Yikes! Too much magic for this girl.
We are headed to Ally's YW in Excellence program. We went yesterday and found her some new clothes for church. She was running low going into the winter with the way she is growing.
I made two roasts in the crockpot so the house smells like onion soup. Nice to have a few meals in the works though. We had french dip sandwiches and shredded beef tacos already. The kids like a dish I learned from my Venezuelen friend, Fatima Kaser, I met at Thunderbird. It has shredded beef, black beans and rice but the meat also has some tomatoes and things. It's yummy.
And this is for Mom, Todd and I went to eat at Cafe Rio and we ate OUTSIDE on the patio. Yes it is NOVEMBER. Yes it is UTAH. Yes it was about 70 degrees. You would have enjoyed it. Going to get cold now though.
Signing off, go save your children, pick up your houses, work on the laundry, get some sleep. JT

Ally has definatley grown too. Have fun at YW in Excellence... Thats when you know your getting old!!
I made those bars too. I thought that they were like the ones that your neighbor made that one time that I liked so much. They weren't as good, but they were magically disappearing (sp?) at my house too...I think my roommates ate them all and I barely got any! I guess that is a good thing :) going to the gym!
