Tuesday cont.
So I haven't been sleeping well with Todd gone. Brynn cries in the night that her legs hurt from her knees down. Growing pains?? Whatever. I sleep with the cell phone in my hand. I think the alarm will go off in the night and I need to be ready with that because the freaks will cut the land lines, right? So I lay down to take a rest with Sophie at 4pm. Ally comes in and reminds me that she was going to babysit so I could go to Parent/Teacher conferences. Oops. I get ready, walk to the school, spend an hour talking to the teachers. Okay, now I have 1 hour before the kids need to be at church, a cranky 2 year old (she isn't sleeping either). The kids suggest Bajio. We're so there. Kids meals are the same price as mcdonalds but the adults meal tastes so much better. A friendly older couple was watching the kids, watching me, making my way down the line, choosing just the right rice, bean, and garnish for each child. Finally I said" husband's out of town", feeling like they needed an explanation. She said it sounded like a good idea I was there too. So we sit down. Brigham is cleaning up his already spilled pop over by the soda machine. Sophie didn't look comfortable in the wooden high chair--she was reclined back so her neck was holding her up so I put her on my lap. Next Brynn's drink tips off the table and lands face down. I'm thinking, good, don't need the man with the mop to come over so I quickly pick it up. As I bend down to get it, Sophie reaches for my plate and gets a handful of hot refried beans then the loudest screeeeeeeeeech ever. I quickly wipe off her hand and put it in my ice water. Then another loud screeeeeeeeeech. Uh, what was I thinking???? No cooking/dishes for me vs. putting a 5 month old in danger. So I put my whole dinner in a to-go box, dropped the older two off for their church activities 25 minutes early and headed for the barn. Hopefully they will all go down without resistance. See you tomorrow...

You are awesome! I would so be taking my kids out to BAJIO!
Breakfast for dinner is another favorite of mine too. That's easy and no mess.
Good Luck tomorrow.
If it makes you feel any better...I sleep with my cell phone too...and my car keys, so I can set off the car alarm to alert the neighbors that there are "freaks" in my house! Oh, and I have a baseball bat under my bed.
So sorry--also, Cam and Coop would have LOVED to play with Brigs. Call me next time and I'll come get him!
