Before I forget to write it down, I was leaving for St. George and Brigham asked, " How old will Sophie be when she grows a neck?" Her chin seems to always be on her shirt I guess.
*The following is a travel log---- i.e. boring, skip forward*******************************
We made it to St. George & back safely. We missed the snow storm by one day and had great weather. We arrived around 6pm and ate dinner at Cafe Rio then we grocery shopped and went to the Thursday Nights Downtown Festival, an antique shop and the Little Professor Book Store.
Sophie was up all night with a fever from her 6 mo. shots so we were up quite a bit. Sorry girls! We went to St. George spa for pedicures (Kelly's first!) Friday and then to the Gun Barrel Restaurant for lunch. (Great fried green tomatoes, sweet potato fries, ribeye, salmon, pork sandwich and french dip sandwiches if you go there.) We also found a shop like Rod Works called "Krumpets International". It had home decor, Christmas items, ornaments, candles, etc. Everybody found something in that store. We also went to Christensens, a local department store and Pebbles in My Pocket. Next we went to Rite Aid for their mints with real peppermint oil. & the Outlet Mall for caramel apples, chocolate covered bananas and more shopping. We went to the Greek restaurant for dinner. Heather and Mike Pinegar showed us their new home. It's beautiful. They did a good job, especially on the kitchen. Very nice. Good luck with Baby "Ireland"!
We all slept better the second night. Saturday we went for a walk. We saw a tiny bit of St. George residential. Nice homes, very clean and friendly people. We tried to go to Scaldoni's for lunch but they weren't open. Heather Kelly Pinegar suggested the Parrot Head Island Grill so that was our next adventure. We did find it and the food was tasty. We went back to the outlet mall, Old Navy, TJMaxx and then back to clean the condo. We never did make Scaldoni's. We drove through Wendy's and headed home.

Thanks for the Halloween cards, Sam, & Liz--kids loved the mail and the school pictures of Harry & Georgia are great. Thanks Todd for taking the kids for the weekend. It was nice to come home to a clean house too. He even survived the ward party with five kids and Chase's football game. That was fun, Holli, Kelly, Candy & Heather & Lucy. Thanks for planning a nice trip & driving Holli! Missed you Shannon, Aimee & Candace. Beeson girls, we need to plan a trip!
Photos aren't hooking up, I'll try in a separate post.
