We're Back!

We just got home from 9 days of vacation. Whew! I'm ready for a vacation now! That is a lot of work! Hopefully we can get back on track and into a routine...... just in time for school to start, in 9 days.

Favorite things about Lake Powell:

Good food--preparing meals with the girls & bbqs on the top of the houseboat
That jet skis circle around when they get away from you
Full moon and bright stars
A working camera (not everyone else's favorite)
No cell phone reception or internet connection
Smiley, happy, dancing cousins
Cold drinks and ice cream sandwiches
Good smelling lotion Healing Garden Relax Therapy Green Tea
Seeing the family laughing and having fun
Judd's first aid kit & skills
Kelly laughing on the knee board and body surfing
Houseboat ride to and from our camping spot

Thank you, Cory and Shannon for all of your hard work and generosity and boat pulling,and wave runner runs. We had a great time! Good food, company and fun.

Dinners that we had, for the record...chicken salad sandwiches, teriyaki chicken kabobs w/ rice and eggrolls, hamburgers/hotdogs, steaks & potatoes, taco salad, and lasagna, salad & garlic bread. Heather, Shea, Cory & Shannon shopped for all of the food and did a great job. There was plenty of everything.

Sophie and Lucy got to spend good time together, napping and eating.
Boston, Brigham and Chase had fun Lizard hunting.& cliff jumping.
.Ally loved the fishing and being semi-adult.
Hannah and Reese were singing like Ariel.
Reese was swimming like Ariel too.
Gavin ate and pulled Holli's hair.
Brooke entertained the little ones.
Cooper and Camden played game cube and posed for photos and fished with Batman & Spiderman fishing poles. Hayes and Olivia were bathing beauties and boat drivers.
Brynn kept us all laughing & on our toes.
